The Lord Nelson is situated in the affluent village of Winthorpe approximately 2 miles from Newark. There is an attraction of walkers, cyclists and tourists to the pub along with a great local trade of drinkers and diners that can be developed further.  The pub is a successful pub offering great food, drinks and the opportunity of functions. The pub offers great facilities with a large external area with seating for around 150 along with a covered outside space and a mixture of lawn and patio area. Internally the trade areas are in good condition with a dining/function room area with around 50 covers a bar area used for dining or drinking with around 30 covers and a snug bar. The kitchen is well-equipped on the ground floor.

The accommodation is on the first floor above the pub and consists of 4 bedrooms, lounge and 2 bathrooms and another room currently used as an officebut this room could be used as a galley kitchen if a table and simple kitchen equipment was added. The decor is to personal preference and the right publican will probably want to decoarte to thier person taste.
