It will show televised live sports throughout the week on both the internal and external TVs. There is an opportunity to develop sports teams for both pool and darts. The new operator will need to provide a sound base for sports teams and traditional bar games including football, pool, darts, dominoes, and quizzes along with a vibrant and varied entertainment program at weekends. The new operator will put the community at the heart of everything that goes on and will strive to make the Eagle the community hub in the local area.
The BDM is seeking an experienced community and sports-obsessed operator, experience in running a similar venue would be advantageous and applicants must have the right sales-focused ideas to maximise sales before and after games whilst ensuring customers are served in a safe environment. You will need to plan and execute weekly entertainment such as quiz nights, bingo, karaoke, and live music and ensure a return is made on your weekly entertainment allowance. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the local marketplace as well as be community-focused with a good knowledge of sports.
