The Thatched Tavern is located on a traditional street corner that can be easily accessed via the main road in Reddish. Set in the heart of a popular residential area and located near shops, the pub is very popular with locals. Reddish is an area in the Metropolitan Brough of Stockport, Greater Manchester 4.6 miles south-east of Manchester City Centre. There are good local bus transport links and the pub is within easy driving distance to the busy M60 motorway.
The pub has two entrances, one from the front and one to the side serving a traditional pub layout of vault and lounge bar areas, served by a central bar servery. Each area has a relatively small capacity but is complemented by a rear courtyard-style garden area with six picnic benches in the walled sun trap. Both bar areas have good viewing of TVs and the Vault Bar has a dartboard. The vault bar is fitted with mainly loose furniture, the lounge bar area is mainly fixed seating and loose tables, and to the rear of the pub by the garden entrance there are the Gents' and Ladies' toilets.
The private accommodation comprises three bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom, entry is gained through the pub.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a passion for the traditional community pub and introduce low level Rhythm of the Week sales drivers to boost early to mid week sales.
