This is very much a regulars and local pub and is totally wet-led. There is scope to get more teams in the pub, such as darts and dominos. The pub is surrounded by residential properties, and this is the target market. The Railway Inn needs to be at the heart of the local community and involved in all that happens in the area. A totally undeveloped area of the business is food, a basic traditional menu could be a real draw to new business.
Ideally, you will need to know how to deal with cask ale and have a desire to integrate into the community. This could be a first-time tenancy for someone who has worked in hospitality before.
