The Forester is a fantastic pub which benefits from being part of a housing estate between Chigwell and Hainault on the Essex/east London border. This is a large pub with a good-sized footprint– there is a car park (approx. 15 spaces), a good-sized partially covered patio a small garden to the rear of the pub and a large, paved area to the front. Inside, the pub has a horseshoe bar which serves a large bar which is split into two zones, the main bar has circa 35 covers -including a snug area and the other side has approx. 22 covers and has more of a sport feeling, this area is currently used for any parties or functions. This pub does not have a trade kitchen and has for the last 9 years been run as a value lead wet pub, they have decided that it is time to move away from this retail proposition and explore new trading ideas.
