Nestling under Kilnsey Crag in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, approximately 12 miles from Skipton, The Tennant Arms was built in the 17th Century as a coaching Inn for travellers passing through Wharfedale. It is ideally situated for walking and touring and is within easy reach of the market town of Skipton and the Spa towns of Harrogate and Ripon - Or for visiting Bolton Abbey and the numerous other attractions within the area. The Pub Company is seeking a new retailer to take on a new agreement on this already very well-established and successful business. The Tennants Arms has two entrances, the first leads to the main bar area which boasts a large feature fireplace, ceiling beams and seating for 18 covers. The second bar is similarly furnished with traditional décor throughout, creating a true country pub feel with dark wooden furniture and flagged stone floors. The rest of this side of the pub can seat a further 57 covers. The second entrance takes you into the reception area of the hotel. A small reception desk greets you before the hallway leads down to the beautiful oak function room, which can provide seating for 20 and is perfect for private family parties or as an additional dining area if needed. To the side of this room is the restaurant which can seat a further 40 covers, both rooms are traditionally furnished. There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen on the ground floor which can support the various needs of this multi-functional site. There are 10 living bedrooms, each with its character and style and all decorated to a high standard. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a sunken bath and a four-poster bed. They are an excellent asset to this already attractive pub.

Surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and during the warmer weather customers of the pub can enjoy these wonderful views from the patio and beer garden to the side of the pub. There are plenty of picnic benches which provide seating for at least 60 people. Along the front of the pub, there is car parking for 10 vehicles with additional parking available at the rear.
