The location is very rural but remains accessible 1hrs drive from the M25, only a 10-minute drive from Jct 13 of the M4, 10 miles north of Newbury.
As you walk into the Crown & Horns you can smell the open fire in the winter months and hear the gentle chatter of locals catching up with each other in the small bar area, Hotel guests will check in here at the quiet end of the bar. As you explore the pub, you will see most of its space devoted to dining, this is broken up with wooden beams and wood burners. The large kitchen is in the heart of the pub, and the front-of-house team finds it easy to collect food orders and communicate with the kitchen team.
There are 11 bedrooms in total, the great location ensures the bedroom guests are a mix of both corporate clients during the week and leisure guests at the weekends. The bedrooms benefit from recent refurbishment and are all smart with homely touches.
