The Three Tuns is a picturesque and popular old stone pub within walking distance of pretty coves, including dog-friendly Porthallow and one of the best diving spots in the UK, Porthkerris. St Keverne is less than five miles from Goonhilly Downs, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and part of the Lizard National Nature Reserve, home to many rare plants and flowers. It is also a 20-minute drive from the market town of Helston, home to the world-famous Flora Dance each May.
The village itself hosts the annual Ox Roast festivities on the first Saturday of August – a tradition not to be missed! The pub sits in the heart of the village with a strong food offering and fantastic rooms. It provides the ideal base from which holidaymakers can enjoy coastal Cornwall.
The bar and restaurant reside in a good-sized room with 60 covers with a spacious kitchen situated behind the bar. There are five en suite letting rooms that have been refurbished along with the trading area and outside trading areas. You’ll maximise the main trading area inside and the secondary trading area externally.
Outside, you’ll discover 60 covers during the summer, guests enjoy the large beer garden at the rear with the attached field for secondary accommodation, and 6 Bell Tents. There’s a good-sized car park for 20 cars.
The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

The Three Tuns is a family-friendly and traditional Cornish pub in the heart of St Keverne, on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula recently voted one of the best places to live in the UK by the Sunday Times.
Guests enjoy coffee and cake from 10 am daily, with food available to order between 12 noon and 9 pm, seven days a week, and a special Sunday roast between 12 noon and 3 pm. Upstairs you’ll discover five newly-refurbished lettings rooms: three doubles, a king-size, and a family room, which all come with breakfast included.
The Three Tuns needs an operator passionate about beer and food quality, and a local celebrity who can forge strong links with the local community. You’ll recruit, train, lead, and inspire a high-functioning team and be keen to host regular events, maximising all areas throughout the business. The pub needs a savvy and creative operator who will capitalise on the bed and breakfast rooms, spacious outside trading area, and car park.
You’ll also source local produce and be knowledgeable about seasonal trading with the ability to be flexible in response to extreme variations in trading patterns.
