The Gilnow Arms is a true local pub serving the local residential area and has a good level of regular trade. Busy throughout the day from opening with further customers coming in for a drink after work and then later into the evening for bingo and the games nights. The pub hosts a darts and dominos team along with a card club and has a pool team waiting. Entertainment is hosted weekly with either a DJ or Karaoke and there is monthly live music.
The BDM is looking for an experienced community operator who is used to running or managing a pub that is there to serve the local custom, preferably a couple that will throw themselves into community life and further make the site the hub of the community.
