The local area is devoted to agriculture and is well known for its famous orchards, production of corn and hops, and sheep and cattle grazing. Sat on the main A2 between Faversham and Sittingbourne, the Dover Castle boasts a prominent spot in Teynham and it plays host to a diverse customer base to include the community locals and families, those that travel in from surrounding towns for a bite to eat, transient custom visiting the local area and delegates using the meeting and event space.
Currently a food led site, the Dover Castle trades Tuesday to Sunday only and provides its customers with freshly cooked classic pub dishes and light bites, using locally sourced and seasonal produce.
