Property details
Located just three miles away from Colchester town centre, the Anchor Inn is a well-established riverside pub and restaurant in the village of Rowhedge, Essex.
Sat on the banks of River Colne and housing a friendly, close-knit community, Rowhedge is a thriving rural village that is also accessible by river, with private patron moorings available at the Anchor Inn and public moorings nearby. Internally you will find a relaxed drinking and dining area with feature bar servery, informal restaurant, and conservatory dining space for approx.50/60 covers in total, the Wheel event room, and a well-equipped galley-style kitchen.
Outside, the Anchor boasts a glorious riverside terrace for around 50 covers, which allows you to double your table covers and capitalise on the summer trade.
The private accommodation boasts a private balcony overlooking the river and includes two doubles and one single bedroom, a lounge, a simple kitchenette, and a bathroom.
